Jawad Malik

Jawad Malik is Barings’ Chief Information Officer, responsible for leading a global team of technology professionals in executing the technology strategy to help accelerate the firm’s digital transformation. His team is responsible for all computing services, enterprise architecture, application software, information security, collaboration, and analytic systems. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Jawad served senior technology leadership roles at The Hartford’s Investment Management, ING Financial Services, and Merrill Lynch. He has more than 20 years of experience in information technology within the financial services and investment management industry. In addition to investment management expertise, he has functional leadership experience at scale in digital transformation, enterprise architecture, infrastructure design, cloud services, digital communication networks, platform consolidation, and end-user computing. Jawad holds a B.B.A. in Finance and an M.B.A in Information Systems from Pace University
