Soenil Soebedar is a solution-oriented IT & cybersecurity professional who spent more than 32 years in the IT sector, 22 years as a freelancer & founder of SOEBIT Cybersecurity in the Netherlands (Europe) and 12 years in the Cyber Security area as an Ethical Hacker, Penetration tester, PKI/Cryptography specialist/Architect, Senior Security Engineer, Senior SOC Specialist, Trainer and speaker. He lives and studies in the Netherlands, born in Suriname (South America).

He has extensive experience across industries, including finance, banking, energy, government, healthcare, education, and consulting. He has also worked internationally in various countries and cultures, including France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, India, and Dubai.

Spent 7+ years in the European power and gas exchange market in Paris & Amsterdam. Worked over five years in IT and cybersecurity training and education internationally, including in Dubai and India.

Served for three years at the Ministry of Justice and Security in the Netherlands, working with the Custodial Institutions Agency (all prisons in the Netherlands) as a Senior SOC Security Engineer and Penetration Tester.

Worked for 1,5 years as a freelance Senior Cloud Security Engineer for ABN-AMRO in Amsterdam. Worked for 1,5 years as a freelance Senior PKI & HSM Specialist for the Dutch Central Bank in Amsterdam. Since October 2022, he has been working as a freelance Cryptography Architect and Senior PKI Specialist for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in the Netherlands.

He holds 32 international cybersecurity certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), RCCE, CCISO, CHFI, Microsoft Azure & Security certifications (SC-100, SC-200, AI-102), HSM Professional Engineer -  PECB Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), PECB Lead Forensics Examiner, PECB Lead Network Security Manager PECB Lead Pen Test Professional and others in mobile forensics, cryptography, and advanced penetration testing.

He is also a certified trainer for PECB, EC-Council and Rocheston. Mr. Soebedar speaks fluent English, Dutch and Hindi.

He is a sought-after keynote speaker, having delivered presentations and workshops at conferences such as Cybersec Netherlands, Cybersec Asia (Bangkok), CyberWiseCon 2024, NMITCON 2023 and 2024 (Bangalore-India), AsiaTech Singapore 2023, C0c0n 2022 (Kerala – India police), IEEE conference and multiple events across India, Singapore, and Malaysia. Additionally, he has conducted cybersecurity training for IT professionals, universities and academic institutions in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, USA, Suriname, India, Ghana, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
