Laura is a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in recommender systems at eMAG. Over the past 4 years, she has led the design and development of eMAG’s neural-network-based solution for personalized recommendations, overseeing multiple cycles of model improvements to enhance the experience of our customers. She is focused on shaping the future of recommender systems as well as making them more accessible by helping others understand the magic behind the algorithms.  

Outside of work, you'll often find her testing her models to see how well they recommend treats and toys for her cats, because let’s be honest, every cat deserves a personalized recommendation.
