Ovidiu Stan is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where he also serves as the Director of the Business Outreach Office. With over 15 years of experience in academia, Ovidiu has been at the forefront of bridging education and industry. He has led multiple research projects, authored numerous scientific articles, and co-edited special journal issues in emerging technologies. Ovidiu's expertise spans e-health, cyber-physical systems, and cloud-fog-edge computing. As a Senior IEEE member, an invited professor internationally, and a recipient of cybersecurity and automotive testing awards, he brings a global perspective to tech education. He is involved in institutional development projects and committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry through strategic partnerships and innovative educational initiatives.
