DevTalks is the major tech conference in Romania being the most-wanted expo-conference for developers and IT professionals. As a result, the DevTalks network is including more than 60.000 IT professionals and developers from Romania and beyond throughout the year with insightful content and IT community get-togethers.
Before talking about 2024, we would like to remind the fact that DevTalks 2023 had over 6000 attendees and more than 150 international and local speakers, and we’re not stoping here. With over 10 editions in our portofolio we tend to grow each year, every day. That’s why we tend to have a good time at Romexpo, B1 pavillion.
In 2024 DevTalks Romania reaches its 11th edition on May 29th & 30th , between 10:00 and 18:00. It aims to bring to the attention of all developers and IT professionals the latest cutting-edge technologies that can be explored in the exhibition area, as well as dozens of conferences and workshops led by romanian & international speakers.
The event is scheduled for 2 days, on the 29th and 30th of May including 14 technical content stages like: Java, Web, Mobile, Women in Tech, Big Data & Cloud Stage and DevLead Future of Engineering DevOps, QA & Testing, Security, Product World and Gaming. Engineers, software developers, managers, and not only come to exchange tech updates and ideas.

Ed Burns, who’s currently Principal Architect on the Java Tooling and Experiences team at Microsoft. In this role, Ed will help make Azure the best place for Enterprise Java. Ed has worked on a wide variety of client and server side web technologies since 1994, including NCSA Mosaic, Netscape 6, Mozilla, the Sun Java Plugin, Jakarta Tomcat and JavaServer Faces, and the Servlet specification. Ed has lead or co-lead the expert groups for Servlet and JavaServer Faces.
Joseph Katsioloudes is a security expert who empowers developers to ship secure software through his research and education work at the GitHub Security Lab. His recent contributions include video content with combined 1M+ views packed with practical security tips, and the free game gh.io/securecodegame for software developers who want to build a security skillset with 3K+ players worldwide in the first 6 months.
Ekaterina Sirazitdinova is a senior data scientist at NVIDIA. She specializes in leveraging AI techniques, such as multimodal generative AI, large language models and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) to tackle computer vision and language processing challenges. Previously, Ekaterina was a research engineer applying deep learning to medical image analysis.

Children are also welcomed to take their first steps into IT World and have fun and interactive activities, participate in the creation of robots or programming workshops, while parents can learn from their favourite speakers. Led by experienced instructors who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of IT leaders, our sessions are both educational and entertaining. Through interactive lessons and collaborative projects, children not only learn essential IT skills but also develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities that will serve them for a lifetime
